Molly is learning to respond to blood sugar levels and let Rob know when he needs to take care, but Molly has discovered she can multi task giving nervous learner drivers a warm welcome and a confidence boost, Rob is amazed at the difference she has made, he says the atmosphere in the car during the lessons is calm and relaxed well done Tegans Disco

We received a lovely update on Shelby who is now 14 weeks old
Hi there Mel,
Thought I would give you a progress report on Shelby. When we picked her up we met Andrew and his family. Their little boy is lovely.
Shelby is doing great. When we go to puppy school she runs with the 3 other larger puppies ( 2 x Shep x Lab and 1 x Husky x Staffy) she mixes with them, but of course being larger she comes back and
stays with me. She lays along side me but when the others come up to her she is happy enough. She does what she is told and is going to pass the class.
She has learned sit, drop, roll over, leave and go to the mat. Still need some more training alone but has been too hot and the other girls are a distraction. She is fully vaccinated and has passed her 10 days
so can go anywhere now as her next one is due in 12 months. Ron took her for her second vaccination and apparently now they give one that is their 2nd and 3rd combined with some spray up the nose etc. Yes,
up to date with her worming and boy, has she got a ‘stomach with now memory’ lol. NO…. I don’t give her extra. It’s suck it up girl. She was 3.1 when we got her and is now 4.4kg. I have been a lot of places with her
but next week I will see the head master down the road at the primary school to say that I will be standing at the fence with her so she can get use to noise and kids etc. I want to see him and explain what I am doing as I
would hate to think that I am there for the wrong reasons.
I am also getting her up on the dog grooming table, brushing her and showing her the clippers etc. etc. So far, so good. She also goes in her crate when she wants and also is learning stairs at the pet shop. Going down is
good but getting up is a bit slower. Although in saying that, she knows how to get up the 3 little stairs to get onto the poof to get on the bed. She is allowed up when I say for cuddles and to be with the other dogs, but she also knows
when it is night, that she sleeps in her bed alongside mine and that is where she stays. She gets out and goes to wee etc. and the knows now how to run through the doggy door. When the girls go out, it is like ‘wait for me’.
She has big romps with one of the girls in particular. The other 2 take or leave her. Bones… well it is musical bones. I get beef soup bones from the butchers and sometimes a small marrow bone for them. She loves chewing on bones.
NO I have never given my animals cooked bones. She is eating everything. I have tried her on a piece of apricot, nectorine, peach etc as we have those trees. Nothing like nice fresh fruit from the garden. So far, so good with the vegie
patches. She is a bit partial to my strawberry patch. lol lol. Chews the ripe ones before I get to them at times.
Also the crate is her home, and looks like a hoarders house when she gets things and takes them to her crate. Just like a Bower bird. My hose is still in one piece as well. I haven’t moved hardly anything around as I want her to learn that she
can’t touch certain things. These hot days, they have been inside with the aircon going. Not in too much of a hurray to get out in the heat except to go to the loo.
She is such a little gem and gets lots of hugs and kisses from everyone I come upon. There have been so many interested in the breed and are looking forward to see how she comes on. Oh yes, she is great walking on the leash. Just stays with
Anyway that is about all for now. When I can get her to stay still enough I will get a nice photo of her for you. I am training her, but am also letting her be a puppy. We get lots of enjoyment and laughs from her.
Take care and hope all is well your way.
